Exclusive Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 & Gallardo LP 560-4 Models Presented in Detroit

While rival Ferrari decided to forgo the North American International Auto Show, Lamborghini decided to take advantage of being the only Italian exotic at the show by debuting two new exclusive versions of the Murciélago LP 640 and Gallardo LP 560-4.

Lamborghini is using these special models to highlight the company's Ad Personam individualization program that allows customers to have their car built to their particular specifications. Both supercars are highly customized models that feature a unique exterior in a matt blue that is meant to make the cars look "elegant and refined, yet extremely powerful and dynamic." Three new colors will also be offered through the Ad Personam program including matt black Nero Nemesisa, matt white Bianco Canopus, and a matt brown called Marrone Apus.
The interior of the Gallardo LP560-4 features Nero Perseus black leather on the seats, cockpit, door trim, pillars and headliner while blue stitching is applied to the seats, door trim, headliner and the steering wheel. The obligatory carbon fiber trim helps finish off the interior while high-gloss black Callisto wheels round out the main changes to the exterior.

The Lamborghini Murciélago LP 640 is decked out with full Alcantara interior while carbon fiber inlays are applied to the center console, doors and steering wheel. The exterior also receives special high-gloss black Hermera design wheels which offer a perfect contrast to the matt blue exterior.

Of course these cars are just a small sample of the many options available through the Ad Personam individualization program, the only real limiting factor is the owner's imagination and the size of their wallet.
